Portrait Experience

Step 1: Inquire with me through my contact form

This is best way to get in contact with me for a session, I will return your inquiry with in 24 hours. I'll text and email you asking a bit more about what you are looking for and how many people may be expected for the shoot. Ill also send over my pricing and location guide.

Step 2: Pick a package and I will send you a contract and invoice to be signed. I do require a 50 % retainer to reserve your date and the remaining balance can be paid 3 days prior to shoot.

Step 3: Pick a location from location guide. I'm open to any new locations you might have in mind. But my location guide gives you an idea of scenery available for your photos. Locations don't need to be decided right away but a choice should be decided before the date of the photoshoot.

With the contract signed, retainer paid, and location decided everything is all set for the day of the photoshoot. Ill send you a reminder email a few days before along with a few tips to having an easy going photoshoot.

before the photoshoot

Christina is an amazing photographer. She was so sweet and thoughtful. She went out of her way for us and did not have to do so. She captures amazing photos and has great. editing on the final result. Will definitely with her again! - Amy Waggle

At most locations we have a little walking time after meeting up, this gives us a chance to talk and settle some nerves you might have. The first 5 - 10 minutes of any photoshoot can feel uncomfortable but rest easy and trust in the fact that I do this everyday. I'm going to pose you and tell you where to put your hands but I'll also give you prompts like, "walk away and look over your shoulder". This gives motion to your photos and a more candid feel to them.

If it's a family shoot, I'll guide everyone where to stand but also give funny prompts to kids like "who has the smelliest farts in the house". Or "run around mom and dad in circles". I feel the vibes and have fun with the kids. Or if someone is more shy, I give them their space and have mom or dad get the giggles from them.

Kids can be unpredictable, I'm a mom of 4, I 100% understand. So if we need a break mid session that's okay. It TOTALLY happens, and sometimes that's all the kids needs to regroup.

Most family sessions are about an hour, HOWEVER, I work very quick and get the snaps I need to get the beautiful photos but I also don't put pressure on staying within the hour. If we need more time, no problem.
